"You and me are going to be best friends Eevee!" Said Suzuka as she cuddled her first pokemon close. The young pokemon licked her cheek and Suzuka giggled in mirth. Her mother and father looked on happily as she swung herself in circles, cooing the evolutionary pokemon as she held it.
"But you have to have a name..." She said, stopping thoughtfully. A look of deep thought crossed her face and her parents laughed as the eevee copied her expression.
"I know!" Suzuka said holding her eevee up in the air. "I'll call you Bubbles! You're so cute after all, And I just know one day you're going to be so bubbly and excitable. Isn't that right mama?"

And ten years later, bubbles is sicking some ice beam at a dragon pokemon. No biggie.

Done in GIMP about three hours... it was in normal colors, but this was so much more appealing.
