Otherwise, I'd have to go with the future sense. See, what most people realize is that living forever just isn't what it's cracked up to be. We're talking about FOREVER here. What about the possible eventual end of humankind? When there is no one left on the planet. With no one to interact with, you would slowly delve into madness and insanity. With no one producing food you would starve yet be unable to die from it. Unless maybe the animal species of the planet are still around. But then again, what if THEY cease to exist? Remember, FOREVER here... Life HAS to have an eventual end. Otherwise, when nothing is left for you, your blessing is suddenly transformed into a curse.
